Founder, or a CEO? Whose traits do you have more?

Look… everyone needs a guiding light in life. No matter how smart, skilled or independent you think you are, you will hit walls you can’t break alone.

But what kind of guidance do you need?

I like to divide Guidance into two broad categories:

One. The Big Picture Guidance… which is more high level, strategic direction.

Think of vision, roadmap, clarity on why you’re doing what you’re doing.

For this guidance, you need a visionary, a guru, a guide - someone who can rise above the noise, someone who sees further than you, at the bigger picture, the grander scheme of things and can connect dots from a higher POV. These are the Gurus, the Visionaries, the Founders.

They don’t just manage the present—they architect the future.

Think people with a predominant Jupiter, or a very well placed Rahu.

Two. The Everyday guidance… which is more detail oriented, tactical.

The “what do I do next, step by step, so this thing actually happens” guidance.

For this kind of guidance, you seek a subject matter expert, an industry coach, a mentor.

Someone who has all the means, methods, resources and kitsin his arsenal to assist you with daily execution of the big picture strategy. People who know the nuts and bolts of execution.

They are the CEOs, the operators, the tacticians.

Think people with a predominant Mercury, or a very well placed Saturn.

How do you know which one are you, and what kind of guide do you need?

Many things to be analysed, but for a quick scan of your chart —

If most of your planets are concentrated in the first seven signs i.e from Aries to Libra, or in 1st to 7th House then you're a better executioner than a strategist. Your forte is in the everyday details, but you may often lose sight of the big picture, the vision, the objectives. It's easier for you to get caught in “what’s next” that you forget to ask “where is this heading?”

You need a strategic guide, someone who brings vision, lays out a roadmap, a master plan for you to work on and execute tactically.

Now flip it.

If most of your planets are concentrated between Sagittarius to Pisces or in 9th to 12th House - then you are great at big picture, at visualising, strategising, planning and laying policies, processes, roadmaps. You are a visionary. But to make your vision a reality, you need teams and people that are great executioners, who know the tactical details of the work, mentors, subject matter experts, people who think like CEOs and have the right toolkits to breathe life into your vision.

You may have noticed that I skipped 8th House or Scorpio in the above list. And that is because scorpio and 8th house is about deeper picture, the hidden, the unknown, the intuition, the occult, the dark, the mysteries. This is the house that makes a good astrologer. More planets concentrated here gives you an eye to see what others can't see. You may be a big picture strategist, or you may be a detail oriented tactical executioner, but in addition, you also have deeper insights. These are the people who work on "gut" principle more and if not afflicted, their gut usually leads them in the right direction.

Of course there is a lot more that goes into analysing a human's big picture vs detail oriented eye... it isn't black and white. We all have some of everything, hence the whole chart has to be deeply read to understand... but this method of planet concentration can give you a starter idea of whether you're the founder - a visionary strategist... or you are the CEO - a detail oriented executioner, or a bit of both.
